Cotswold

Cotswold

The cottage originally dates from the 1500, and after many years of very little being done to it, the house felt tired, dark and unloved but it had lots of original features and potential.

At first it was gutted and repasted to remove any old texture render from the 70’s. We then used a large range of Farrow and Ball shades to define features in the rooms such as beams and carpentry.

The final stage was installing the furniture we used pieces from Neptune, Cotswold Co and fabrics from GP and J Baker and Sanderson to create a timeless interior that was practical for family life as well as cosy and comfortable.

We designed with lots of colour and pattern so that the cottage looked unique. Each space needed to be comfortable and homely with lots of places to hide away the everyday.

Twin Room

Each bedroom has its own identity. With the use of colour we were able to create a calm guest bedroom, a bright master brining the shades of green and blue from outside in. The twin room has a pop of red against the grey so it suits any demographic.
